Sorry, but I’m more than a little flustered by some friends of mine.
The Writer’s strike is over. That means your crappy little TV shows should be up and running. The only bonus is that Lost could possibly be finished up this end of the season. So my crappy little TV show will be up and running too.
Under the agreement, writers would get a maximum flat fee of about $1,200 for streamed programs in the deal’s first two years and then get 2 percent of a distributor’s gross in year three.
Not all of the writers are happy about it though, so we’ll see how it turns out.
